Ink-spot lentigo


A 29-year-old man consulted for a dark-brown lesion on his right shoulder.
Dermoscopy revealed a dark-brown thickened reticular pattern with broken-up network, typically in favor of an ink-spot lentigo.




This lesion is benign and does not need an excision.

Ink spot lentigo




A 32-year-old man with heavy regular sun exposure, consulted for a dark pigmented lesion of his back.
The skin was covered of many sun lentigines and freckles.


Dermoscopy showed an asymmetric thick regular pattern.






The broken up network pattern was typical of a ink spot lentigo.
