Patchy network in a congenital melanocytic nevus

A 11-year-old girl presented a congenital melanocytic nevus on her left thigh.

Dermoscopy revealed a globular pattern and the presence of a patchy network (white circle)



A regular follow-up did not show any changing.

Parallel furrow pattern

A 3-year-old boy consulted for this congenital nevus on his 4th right toe. Dermoscopy revealed a parallel furrow pattern. An annual follow-up was scheduled.

Congenital melanocytic nevus

This 17-month-old boy presented a typical congenital melanocytic nevus with an homogenous globular pattern.

Atypical congenital nevus

A 14 weeks-old child presented an atypical congenital nevus on her left arm.

Dermoscopy showed an asymetric lesion with blue white veil and irregular dots at the periphery.

The lesion was excised and pathology revealed a benign congenital compound nevus.
